Master of Science in Physical Education with an option in Exercise and Sport Science

The Exercise and Sport Science option focuses on the broad nature of the field. This area of study is designed to give the most flexibility to professionals in the physical education setting and/or exercise science field.

In this option, the students work one on one with an advisor in designing an individualized curriculum related to specific professional goals. Students in this option have the opportunity to develop and improve their skills in a variety of areas including sports management, fitness and wellness, physical education and/or adapted physical education.

Graduate students may choose to take courses over a one to ten year time frame. The department offers several fall, spring and summer courses to maximize flexibility, including at least three evening classes per semester, and several condensed summer courses.The courses listed below are an example for one academic year. Please keep in mind the schedule changes based on faculty and student needs. Check current schedule for an accurate list of courses.
